Flames sign Michael Frolik to multi-year contract

The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed forward Michael Frolik to a multi-year contract.

Frolik, a native of Kladno, Czech Republic, was originally drafted in the first round (10th overall) in the 2006 NHL Draft by Florida. In 2014-15, Frolik recorded 19 goals and 23 assists for 42 points for the Winnipeg Jets. The 27-year-old won a Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2012-13 and has 18 points in 38 career playoff games.
